Gin tastes pure, in cocktails but also in long drinks. The "G" in gin stands for enjoyment, and that only works with fun and passion. To give the diverse flavors full scope, gin is best drunk from a bulbous glass. As a garnish, you can experiment individually: Some drink gin only with cucumber, others againrum with fresh herb sprigs.
During production and processing, the highest care and love is put into the products used. You should appreciate this and enjoy your drink with calm and thoughtfulness.
A real classic among the gins is the London (Dry) Gin. This convinces with its dominant juniper aroma and is therefore ideal for cocktail creations. The production of this variety takes place under strict rules.
The Old Tom Gin contains additional sugar and thus offers a multi-layered taste experience. On the palate you taste the typical juniper note, as well as fruity hints of berries, apricot and citrus.
Under this name gathers a whole squad of gins that stand out due to unusual botanicals. The juniper aroma is relegated to the background in this variety. Ebeso for the production there are no strict regulations.
This designation is also a protected designation of origin. This gin comes from the Spanish island of Menorca, where this type of gin is still traditionally produced today. The juniper note is in the foreground here.
Another well-known type of gin is the dry gin. This is a rather dry gin. In addition, may be added here unsweetened, planzliche components, but also artificial additives and colorants.
A fruity variant among the gins is the Sloe Gin. Strictly speaking, this is not a gin, but rather a liqueur. This variety is flavored with sloes and sugar and served as a fruity cocktail.
The place in the name is a protected indication of origin. Consequently, the Plymouth Gin may only be produced in this English city. This convinces with a sweet and fruity taste and its earthy nuances.
In addition to some official gins, many other varieties have established themselves. These have the advantage that they do not have strict specifications. The Cream Gin is a creation with cream and sugar, which is based on the London Dry Gin.
Stefan Liebmann is a true gin expert and discovered his love for gin during his student days. In Laßnitzhöhe, he turned his passion into a profession and opened the largest gin bar in Styria, which also features his own premium dry gin "YIN GIN".
The characteristic fresh-exotic note of YIN GIN comes from the classic composition of botanicals and the addition of woodruff and lemon. At the same time, despite 44% by volume, the YIN GIN has a wonderfully round and smooth finish with an easily recognizable juniper note.
